A postcard from the farm
Una postal desde la granja. Ximena escribe a su amigo Ben desde la granja de sus abuelos: los animales, lo que hace cada día y lo que está haciendo ahora mismo.
Dear Ben,
Greetings from my grandparents' farm! I'm having a great time. The farm is small, but there are lots of animals: two cows, a horse, five goats and twelve hens.
Every day, I get up at seven o'clock. Before breakfast, Grandpa and I feed the hens and look for eggs. The hens hide their eggs in funny places: under the hay, behind the door and in an old boot!
In the afternoon, I help Grandma in the vegetable garden. We pick tomatoes. I can ride the horse now, but only with Grandpa next to me.
Right now, I'm sitting under a big tree, and two goats are looking at me. I think they want my apple!
