An email to Amy

Hi Amy,

Thank you for your email and the photo of your new puppy. He's really cute! What's his name? I loved your story about ice hockey. It sounds exciting, and I want to try it one day.

Last Friday, my class went on a school trip to the aquarium. We travelledtraveled there by bus, and the journey took an hour. First, we saw sharks, sea turtles and an enormous octopus with eight long arms. Then a guide told us what the animals eat. After that, we had lunch in a park near the aquarium.

My favouritefavorite part was the jellyfish room because it was dark and the jellyfish looked like little pink and blue lights. My friend Wei didn't like the sharks because they had lots of sharp teeth! I bought a postcard for you in the gift shop. It has a picture of a sea turtle on it. I'm going to send it tomorrow.

Next weekend, it's my grandmother's birthday. We're going to have a big family lunch at her house, and my sister and I are going to sing a song for her. I'm a bit nervous because I'm not a very good singer!
