Rainbow fruit cup
Vaso arcoíris de fruta. Una receta para preparar un vaso de fruta por capas de colores con yogur, sin cocinar y sin cuchillos. Trabaja imperativos, conectores de orden y comparativos. Antes de prepararla en clase, comprueba las alergias e intolerancias del grupo.
Last Friday, Class 4A prepared these fruit cups at school. They were colourfulcolorful and delicious! You don't need a knife, and you don't need to cook.
You need: a big glass, a small bowl, a spoon, six strawberries, one mandarin, one banana, ten green grapes, a handful of blueberries, four tablespoons of plain yogurt and one teaspoon of honey.
1. Wash your hands and the fruit.
2. Pull the green leaves off the strawberries.
3. Peel the mandarin and separate the pieces.
4. Peel the banana and break it into small pieces.
5. Now make your rainbow! First, put the strawberries at the bottom of the glass. Then add a layer of mandarin, a layer of banana, a layer of grapes and, finally, the blueberries.
6. Mix the yogurt and the honey in the bowl. Then put the mixture on top of the fruit.
Tip: Ripe bananas are softer and sweeter than green bananas. Your fruit cup is nicer when it is cold, so put it in the fridge for ten minutes.
